Tailoring a Hunt Just for You
We work with our clients to tailor a hunt that fits their hunting style, physical condition, and desires. We have guided hunters who have all sorts of medical conditions including handicapped, disabled, limited mobility, and terminally ill.
Prior to Your Hunt
- We will send up to date information on weather conditions and game movement, quality and quantity.
- We will send a gear list so you can be prepared before you leave home.
- We will make sure you are licensed properly and ensure that you are safe throughout the hunt.
- In order to address your safety we provide you with an Emergency Contact List for the area in case a loved one at home needs to contact you during your hunt. We also are all certified in First Aid and CPR.
- We gather your flight information and make sure we are at the airport on time to pick you up. The guide will pick you up so you have a chance to get to know your guide before you get to camp.
- We help you get ready for the hunt by recommending different types of exercises and practice sessions at the range. We also will let you know what type of shots to expect so you can be 100% prepared when that trophy opportunity presents itself.
Hunt and Accommodations
Prior to arriving at camp:
- We will have a camp set-up that is comfortable and provides a place of rest and relaxation at the end of a days hunt.
- Our tents are equipped with a heat source, lanterns, cots, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, and extra blankets. If need be other arrangements can be provided such as hotel, cabin, or a camper.
- We have a separate tent for cooking/eating complete with chairs and plenty of light.
- Our menus are probably not going to allow you to lose much weight because we believe staying well nourished and hydrated during a hunt only helps in your success. Our menu is tailored to your dietary needs if requested. During the day snacks, pack lunches, and sport drinks are provided along with plenty of water. Be prepared for a dinner that will challenge any five star restaurant.
- Shower facilities are available at camp complete with warm running water.
While in the field:
- We will put in a full day of hunting each and everyday. Typically we are glassing in the morning and still hunting through the afternoon. We are flexible in our hunting methods and can deploy several tactics to increase your odds of success such as sitting game trails, sitting water holes, hanging tree stands, and hunting from a ground blind. This is where the preseason scouting we do puts our clients in the game for a shot opportunity.
- When you harvest your trophy we will take care of the field dressing and caping of the animal. We will then get your trophy back to camp and provide transportation to a quality processor. If you require a taxidermist we also can provide transportation to the taxidermist. Don’t worry we will make sure we take lots of pictures of you and your trophy so you can share your success with your family and friends.
- Videos of your hunt can be arranged and are carried out by our exclusive videographer who is experienced at capturing that moment so you can relive the trip in the comfort of your home time and time again.
Getting Ready to Leave
Transportation, Meat Processing and Taxidermy
- We will provide transportation back to the airport so you can get home safely.
- We ask that you make arrangements with the processor and taxidermist to ship your meat and trophy home. We can recommend some alternative ways of shipping to help save you some money while ensuring your table fare and trophy arrive safely.
